Celtic are through to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup after seeing off the threat of Partick Thistle at Celtic Park on Saturday.
The Hoops were made to work for their win against the Jags, despite rushing to a two-goal lead within ten minutes thanks to a James Forrest double.
He completed his hat-trick early in the second half after Kris Doolan had pulled one back for the visitors, with Conor Sammon making things interesting in the final ten minutes with a late consolation.
The 3-2 win was certainly welcomed by supporters, but the performance has left some worried about their prospects against Russian Premier League side FC Zenit this coming Thursday.
The Hoops face the Russians in a massive UEFA Europa League tie in what will be one of their toughest tests of the season so far.
Zenit haven’t played competitively for months, but Hoops fans are still fearful they have more than enough about them to dismantle their under-performing defence.
Can they raise their game and surprise fans with a complete European performance or will it again be a night of disappointment?
