Tottenham fans are furious with Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren, after the defender mocked Harry Kane for his goal claim.
It’s probably safe to say that if Harry Kane knew claiming he touched that goal vs Stoke would have caused all this fuss, he would have just left the goal to Christian Eriksen.
Since claiming Eriksen’s cross hit his shoulder, the England international has been bashed by both rival fans and players, mocked by the official FA Twitter account and chairman of the PFA Ben Purkiss, and is now having to suffer through jokes from Liverpool’s Lovren.
After Mohamed Salah posted a picture on Instagram celebrating his PFA player of the year award, the Liverpool centre-back replied: “My vote went to Mr. ‘Touch’.”

This comes after several Liverpool players tweeted jokes about Kane’s goal appeal, and Tottenham fans cannot believe that the man that was crucified by Kane at Wembley is cracking jokes.
Spurs swept Liverpool aside in a 4-1 win in October, and Lovren was substituted just 31 minutes in after being utterly dominated by the Spurs striker.
Lovren himself deleted his social media earlier this season, after abusive comments from his own fans.
Tottenham fans are of course leaping to the defence of their star striker, and some of the best Twitter reactions can be found below…
