Nottingham Forest are having a fantastic season under former Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka, and currently sit seventh in the Championship table, just a point outside of the play-offs.
A key feature behind their excellent campaign has been the form of attacking midfielder Joe Lolley, who has been sensational for Forest. The 26-year-old has six goals and six assists in the league, including a number of glorious strikes.
Most notably, however, Lolley put in arguably one of the performances of the season in any league when Forest drew 5-5 with Aston Villa. The former Huddersfield man scored one and assisted the other four of his side’s goals, and the Terriers will be wondering why they ever let him leave.
We asked Crystal Palace fans if they’d like to see their club give Lolley a chance to return to the top-flight, and to strengthen their options in midfield having lost Yohan Cabaye and Ruben Loftus-Cheek in the summer.
Far from a landslide vote, a narrow 54% of those who voted said they they’d like to see the Englishman at Selhurst Park as shown by the results below…
