How much do Vincent Kompany's players earn annually and who receives the most into their account?
Bayern Munich are among the biggest clubs in Europe, thanks to their sheer dominance in the German top-flight, as well as their stunning runs in the Champions League.
If you’re an owner starting a new club, adopting Bayern's approach to player management, financial strategy, and overall success could serve as an excellent blueprint to follow. Their method of blending smart recruitment, financial stability, and consistent performance offers valuable lessons for any aspiring club owner.
Historically, Die Roten have not been known for splashing the cash in the transfer market, but they have consistently demonstrated shrewdness in their spending. The club is meticulous in ensuring they only invest in players they are confident will make an impact, and their strategic approach to negotiations extends to selling top players as well, often securing lucrative deals that benefit the club.
However, they don't mind retaining players who command high wages. In fact, this season, as many as 13 first team players are earning eight-figure salaries annually.
So, who is the highest earner at the Allianz Arena this season? And who is on the opposite end of the spectrum?
GOAL delved into the numbers from Capology and found out!

Was there ever really any doubt as to who was Bayern's highest-earning keeper? Obviously, it is the evergreen Manuel Neuer, who continues to be one of the top earners at the club, making over €21 million.
Sven Ulreich, a long-time servant at the Allianz Arena, is the second-highest earning goalkeeper. However, he's making more than 10 times less than what Neuer is.
Israeli custodian is the lowest-paid goalkeeper, and is among the lowest-paid players at the club.

The highest-paid defender at Bayern Munich is Kim Min-jae, who earns an impressive €12 million annually. His center-back partner, Dayot Upamecano, also enjoys a generous salary, earning a respectable €10 million per year, ensuring both players are well-compensated for their contributions to the team.
One of the players whose future at the club is uncertain is Alphonso Davies, who also happens to be Bayern's second-best paid defender after Kim. Should he renew with the club, there's absolutely no qualms about the fact that he'll become the highest-paid defender, and perhaps one of the highest-earning players overall.
Portugal international Raphael Guerreiro has been a good signing for Bayern since arriving from rivals Borussia Dortmund, and even he can't be too unhappy about his €8 million annual package.
Teenage talents Adam Aznou and Tarek Buchmann are the lowest-paid defenders, with the latter yet to make his official debut for the first team.

No surprises in midfield, either. Joshua Kimmich is the undisputed top-earning midfielder at Bayern, with a salary close to €20 million.
Next in line is Leon Goretzka, with the 29-year-old earning €13 million per year.
Joao Palhinha made a high-profile move from Fulham last summer and is the club's third-highest earning midfielder, ahead of Konrad Laimer and Aleksandar Pavlovic.
19-year-old Noel Aseko Nkili, who is currently playing for the Bayern Munich reserve side, is the lowest-paid midfielder at Bayern.

As straightforward as it comes – Harry Kane is the highest-paid forward in the squad and also the highest-paid player at Bayern Munich, with a €25 million package annually. Club legend Thomas Muller is the second-highest earning forward, with wingers Serge Gnabry, Kingsley Coman, and Leroy Sane following closely behind in terms of wages.
Summer signing Michael Olise commands a remarkable €13.5 million salary, underscoring his importance as a key player for both the present and the future of Bayern Munich.
It’s shocking to see that Jamal Musiala, arguably Bayern Munich’s most vital player for the future, earns just €5 million per season — on par with out-of-favor French winger Mathys Tel. Given Musiala’s immense potential and key role in the team, his salary seems notably modest in comparison to his value.
